Spring Equinox 20th March 2021 9:37am GMT

By Holly Hazeltree.

In this reading, I’m going to discuss the coming trends for the next three months. The Spring Equinox is of particular interest to astrologers as the energies prevalent at this time set the tone for the rest of the year. This is why there are often so many declarations of war or some sort of sabre-rattling occurring during this period, because it is a good way to ensure that said conflict will dominate the rest of the year – and this Equinox is no exception.

However, unfortunately for the deep state, there is not a lot of sabre-rattling energy going on at this time. What does abound is a lot of Piscean/12th house energy. So, I will outline how they are going to try and use that and then I will point out how we can use this energy ourselves.

Firstly, the Sun is conjunct Venus in Pisces at the top of the chart. This can be a loving and compassionate placement but due to the interception of the house suggests that there will some sort of manipulative/controlling element to this energy – a smothering love, if you will. The Sun makes a supportive aspect to Pluto in Capricorn, which suggests that this façade of care will be used to mask a more sinister motive – namely one of making money – which is driving the outward concern. I doubt that information is a surprise to many of you out there.

Also very prominent this Equinox is the asteroid Chiron, which rules health, wounds and healing. I’ve been keeping a close eye on Chiron over the past year, because his placements are even more important due to the pandemic. Chiron is on the cusp of the 11th house, ruling group endeavours, and makes a positive aspect to Mars in Gemini, as well as Saturn in Aquarius. This suggests we will see an increase of peer pressure to police any Covid restrictions as well as science being used to support such measures. Independent information, or information that challenges the official narrative, will be hard to come across, as it will be absent from the MSM, but probably discussed more readily online (Gemini is in the 12th house, signifying secrets and things hidden out of sight). There may be laws called for to enforce the official position, as Jupiter is conjunct the midheaven, with an emphasis on the moral and ethical high ground, such as helping others in some way. It is also worth remembering that we have the ongoing Uranus/Saturn square to contend with, which here suggests that science will be used to justify further restrictions, but that as a result many will be going away and doing their own research online, so it will be a real challenge to keep the restrictions going this spring – hence why they will probably use peer pressure instead. However, the real thing to watch for is the psychological manipulation, as this could spread like a fog this Spring and be difficult to see through. This is how the deep state could use these aspects, so what can we do about this?

One of the main reasons these people have been in charge for so long is that they have publicly denounced all occulted knowledge, whilst using it in secret for themselves to shore up their own positions. It is time for us to begin using these ancient techniques now, to create a more harmonious world.

So, Mercury, messenger of the gods, also sits in this Piscean stellium together with the asteroid Pallas, the goddess of war and defence, and these two are telling us to use our intuition and our connection with the gods to protect ourselves during these next few months. Stay close to the gods at this time, stay close to the hearth and home. This does not necessarily mean literally, but energetically, stay close to your loved ones and what you believe in. This will be enough (unless seriously indicated otherwise in your own chart) to keep you and yours protected and safe. Allow your intuition to lead you away from the mainstream. We are being presented with an opportunity to approach life in a completely different way, one more akin to the ways of our ancestors, where our intuitions and our relationships with the gods held sway. Employing this thinking will lead us out of the Neptunian fog of Pisces and onto higher, clearer ground.

The other important aspect for us to note is Saturn in Aquarius in the 9th house of wisdom and ideals. It makes a great aspect to Mars, as I said earlier. We can also use this aspect in a positive way as it suggests that there is a lot of opportunity and information, hidden away but available to us online about how to make money that makes us less dependent on the system. I am not advising anyone to quit their day job but I am pointing out that these new/old ways of thinking and being can lead to financial opportunities outside of the mainstream. Lockdown has demonstrated to many of us how dependent we are on the system and how miserable it makes us. We need to look for what Evelyn Waugh referred to as the “low door in the wall… which opened on an enclosed and enchanted garden, which was… not overlooked by any window, in the heart of that grey city”. This is what is opening up to us now but the way to this low door is to stop drifting down the mainstream; to seek new paths via our intuitions, look for new ways to live and give them our attention. This new/old approach to life is going to become increasingly popular, as well as necessary. So why not use this Spring to look for your own low door in the wall?
